The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

The Bible is an Idol and....
The BIBLE is the MARK of the BEAST!
Constantine (1st beast) legalized Christianity and had 50 bibles compiled.
King James, a homosexual (2nd beast) 666 # of a man, born 1566, 6th of Scotland, authorized a 66 book bible, an image of God's word, carried in your hand, memorized in your head, made to speak (the bible says) and used as an object of worship, which breaks the New Covenant, by having faith in the Bible in place of faith in Jesus by the Holy Ghost. Your faith will fail.

I didn't bother to comment on this as it seemed rather silly and not worth the effort. Harland looks like he's given up blogging. People like me have not time for Constantine really but we don't take Harland's view.

@harland We have hundreds of original manuscripts that Pre-Date Constantine. Which is why we are able to translate newer versions of the Bible without ever needing to look at the kjv - we just go straight to the original manuscripts dating to withing 20-40 years of The Life of Jesus. Funny thing is, it is pretty accurate too (the kjv that is). Also, scrolls from which we translate the 'Old Testament', are 1000's of years older than Constantine... Long Story Short - The Main point is this - Most Modern English Bible Translations Are Done without any Influence of Constantine or King James.
